The newswire conducted surveys of firms with more than 100 attorneys in fall of 2009, and concluded that Verrill Dana ranks 8th in the U.S. for its concentration of female partners. Verrill Dana is the only Maine firm that was ranked among the top 75% on this list, and the only firm in northern New England to make the top 10.
